Vote for candidates who will protect our rights
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Oct. 8, 2012 1:40 pm
Our forefathers created a new nation that was destined to become the greatest nation the world has ever known. The rights enjoyed by its citizens caused its greatness. Four years ago, the people voted for “change” without knowing what the definition of “change” was. This “change” is nullifying the rights that made our country great.
The purveyors of the “change” expect us to believe that a system that has always failed in the past, and is failing throughout the world today, is our great “hope.”
Their system denies a basic necessity of the human spirit: the incentive to work. Some people would rather get money from the government than have to work. Others are willing to work until the fruits of their labor are taken from them by the government. The result is a loss of productivity. We do not need this kind of “change.”
The Nov. 6 election is our opportunity to reverse this destructive change. The choice is clear - the terrible wrongness of abortion corrupts those who support it. Please vote for the candidates who will protect our rights; please vote for the pro-life candidates in this election.
