Kennedy, Xavier lead Metro in all-state golf selections

The Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association has released its all-state selections, following the fall Class 4A prep golf season.The programs from 42nd Street are well represented. Cedar Rapids Kennedy's Harrison Moore and Conner Koberg were named to the second-team, and Cedar Rapids Xavier's Matt Junge and Ben Sagers were also received second-team honors.The Cougars were state runners-up to Waukee, finishing a shot back. Moore, Davis Sutton and Koberg all placed in the top-1o. Junge tied Koberg for 10th. The performances were good enough for first-team all-tournament honors for Moore and Sutton, while Junge and Koberg made second-team all-tournament.Below are the complete lists for both IHSGCA all-state teams and all-tournament teams from the IHSAA state meet:
