WIN preseason wrestling rankings

Practice for the 2012-13 prep wrestling season began Monday. Wrestling Insider Newsmagazine has released its preseason national rankings.Class 2A power Davenport Assumption is the only Iowa team to crack the top 25. Three-time state champion Brandon Sorensen, of Denver-Tripoli, heads the list of Iowa preps. The senior, who has committed to wrestle for the University of Iowa, is ranked seventh at 145 pounds. Another three-time state champion and Hawkeye commitment, Creston-OM's Jake Marlin, is ranked 20th at 145.Spirit Lake Park Senior Doug Miner is eighth at 113.See the entire list.
