People of faith face attack by government
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Jan. 29, 2013 11:46 am
People of many faiths, and especially Catholics, face an unprecedented three-pronged attack by our government on three vital tenets of their respective faiths: the inviolability of the institution of marriage between one man and one woman, the sacredness of human life in all stages from the moment of conception to natural death, and the right freely to exercise their religions.
Our main defense lies in prayer, writing protest letters to politicians and the media, donating to like-minded organizations, voting and when necessary, engaging in civil disobedience.
