IHSAA releases Class 1A, 2A basketball brackets

The Iowa High School Athletic Association released official district and substate pairings for all Class 1A and 2A teams Wednesday.Groupings were released earlier in January, with teams bracketed according to seeds that are achieved via results from games 5 through 15. Postseason games for the classes begin February 11.Those earning top-two seeds in Class 1A include North Linn, Lone Tree, Iowa Mennonite and Sigourney. In Class 2A, top-two seeds include MFL/Mar-Mac, Cascade, North Cedar and West Branch.Here are the pairings involving area teams:
