Girls track: Individuals to watch

 Individuals to watch in girls track this season, with last year's results at the state meet:

LAUREN BENZING, sr., Solon -- 3rd in Class 3A 800, 1,500, 3,000 and distance medley relay.

COURTNEY BRUNS, sr., West Branch -- 1st in Class 2A 3,000.

McKENNAN CRONBAUGH, sr., Iowa City West -- 1st in Class 4A long jump, 2nd in 400 relay, 5th in 200, 6th in sprint medley relay.

ALLISON GIBBS, sr., Cascade -- 1st in Class 2A 800 relay, 1,600 relay and distance medley relay, 2nd in 400 relay.

TESSA HELMLE, sr., Cascade -- 1st in Class 2A 800 relay, 1,600 relay and sprint medley relay, 2nd in 400 relay.

STEPHANIE JENKS, fr., Linn-Mar -- Did not compete. State 4A cross country champion last fall.

MARIAH KAUDER, sr., Cascade -- 1st in Class 2A 1,500 and distance medley relay, 2nd in 800 and 3,000.

LINDSEY KITE, sr., Jesup -- 1st in Class 2A 800 and 3,200 relay, 2nd in distance medley relay, 5th in 1,600 relay.

ABBEY MEYER, jr., Cascade -- 1st in Class 2A distance medley relay, sprint medley relay, 800 relay and 1,600 relay.

NICOLE MILLER, soph., North Linn -- 1st in Class 1A 1,600 relay and 3,200 relay, 2nd in distance medley relay, 3rd in 800.

JASMINE STAEBLER, soph., Clayton Ridge -- 1st in Class 1A 400 and sprint medley relay, 2nd in 800, 8th in 3,200 relay.
