Final Creative Corridor Workshop on “Building Culture” May 15

Regional economic development partners in Iowa's Creative Corridor are hosting the last installment of a four part series on the importance of culture in the workplace.  All levels of leadership, including hiring managers, human resource departments and business executives are encouraged to attend and information will be relevant to companies of all sizes and in all industries.

The workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at hotelVetro in downtown Iowa City.  Managers and leadership from Geonetric, TrueNorth, Raining Rose, MediRevv, South Slope, and MSI Mold Builders will participate in panel discussions and lead breakout sessions on their culture transformation.

Past culture events have addressed issues including hiring and firing, mission and vision statements, and engaging customers and coworkers.  The May 15 event will touch on all of these issues, but will also be an open forum for companies to bring their culture questions.  Lunch will be provided and there is no cost to attend, but reservations are required.
