America deserves better

Before the removal of Mohammed Morsi as president of Egypt, President Obama had the gall to lecture him on the finer points of democracy. In essence, he told him that democracy is about more than elections. All Egyptians should be heard and represented including those demonstrating in the streets.
In President Obama's world, few things are more important than the next election as he has campaigned nonstop since 2008.
He has bragged about cleaning up Washington politics and presenting the most open and transparent administration in history. He was going to give all Americans a voice in their government through their representatives, peaceful demonstrations and tax-exempt organizations at the grass roots level. Unfortunately, he has not lived up to his rhetoric or his oath of office to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution.
Members of his state department, justice department and the IRS are under investigation for malfeasance in office. They are accused of lying under oath, cover ups, spying on and intimidating a free press and citizenry, ignoring the Freedom of Information Act plus other nefarious activities. The IRS also attempted to influence the 2012 elections by delaying or denying approval of the tax-exempt status for the Tea Party, Christian organizations and other conservative groups.
President Nixon tried to cover up a third-rate burglary and resigned in disgrace while members of his staff went to prison. President Obama remains aloof and feigns outrage at all the scandals taking place on his watch. Where is the outrage among the liberals and the mainstream media?
America deserves better!
