Government needs moral integrity
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Aug. 29, 2013 1:32 pm
Things are happening in our culture that would have been thought impossible several generations ago. Our government is taking actions that our forefathers fought world wars to keep out of our country.
Our government is harassing citizens if they disagree, intimidating the media if they ask the wrong questions, picking and choosing which laws they will enforce, circumventing Congress with executive orders or judicial decrees, withholding information or outright lying to the people and usurping more of the people's freedom and liberty every day.
Our government is too big to be manageable and needs some good old “traditional common sense.” Now that would be a good name for a new political party.
As a veteran, I want and deserve a government with moral integrity. My children and grandchildren deserve that and so do you.
