Board's decision is alarming
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Sep. 16, 2013 12:19 pm
Iowans should be outraged at the action taken by the Iowa Board of Medicine to ban the telemedicine delivery system for medication abortions. Iowa physicians should be alarmed that the board regulating their profession took such action without more investigation.
The public should be alarmed that the board they depend on to protect their health and safety made it harder for Iowans to access safe health care they need.
