IHSAA postseason wrestling assignments

The Iowa High School Athletic Association wrestling postseason is about to begin for the smallest classes throughout Iowa this Saturday.

Class 1A and 2A will compete in sectional competition to determine regional dual and district tournament fields next week. The top two teams from each sectional will advance to regional duals, while the top two individuals at each weight class will move to district Feb. 15.

Here are 1A sectional and district assignments.

 Programs in 3A do not compete in sectional tournaments. They compete in eight-team district tournaments Feb. 15 with the top two wrestlers at each weight advance to the state tournament held Feb. 20-22 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. Here is the breakdown of 3A districts.
