Iowa City West's Lohaus named Iowa Gatorade Player of Year

Another big award for Iowa City West senior guard Wyatt Lohaus.
The University of Northern Iowa signee has been named Iowa boys' basketball's Gatorade Player of the Year, it has been announced. Lohaus is the second straight Trojans/future Panther to win the honor, following Jeremy Morgan last year.
West won three consecutive Class 4A state championships with Lohaus as a starter. He was named Iowa Mr. Basketball last week by the Iowa Newspaper Association."We are very proud of Wyatt and his accomplishments on the court," West Athletics Director Scott Kibby said in announcing the honor. "But also as an outstanding young man."
