Pair of Iowa City schools atop preseason soccer rankings

The Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association has released its preseason rankings for boys' soccer, with Iowa City West and Iowa City Regina sitting atop their respective classes.West is the top-ranked team in Class 3A, Regina No. 1 in 1A. Cedar Rapids Xavier is the top-ranked club in Class 2A.The top five in 3A include Iowa City High (third) and Cedar Rapids Kennedy (fourth). Johnston is second and also received a first-place vote.In 1A, Dyersville Beckman is ranked second, followed by West Liberty.Here are the entire rankings:
