Track state-qualifier assignments

The Iowa High School Athletic Association and the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union have released assignments for state-qualifying meets May 15.The state meet is May 22-24 at Drake Stadium.Here are districts/regionals with area teams in each class:

CLASS 4A (Top 2 in each event advance, plus 12 at-large)

At Dubuque -- Cedar Rapids Kennedy, Cedar Rapids Prairie, Cedar Rapids Washington, Clinton, Dubuque Hempstead, Dubuque Senior, Iowa City High, Iowa City West.

At Marshalltown -- Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids Jefferson, Linn-Mar, Marshalltown, Mason City, Newton, Waterloo East, Waterloo West.

CLASS 3A (Top 2 in each event advance, plus 8 at-large)

At Marion -- Anamosa, Cedar Rapids Xavier, DeWitt Central, Dubuque Wahlert, Maquoketa, Marion, Solon, Western Dubuque.

At Mount Pleasant -- Centerville, Clear Creek Amana, Davenport Assumption, Fairfield, Fort Madison, Keokuk, Mount Pleasant, Washington.

At Tama -- Benton Community, Center Point-Urbana, Grinnell, Oskaloosa, Pella, South Tama, Vinton-Shellsburg, Williamsburg.
