Marc and Shelly Cabalka of Independence are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha, to Cody Barnes, son of Dan and Sue Barnes of Adams, MN. Samantha graduated from Columbia Southern University with an MBA in Health Care Management. She is employed at Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska, Inc. as Human Resources Projects and Volunteer Management Coordinator. Cody received his Master's degree from the University of Nebraska - Omaha in Athletic Training and accepted an Athletic Training position with Heartland Orthopedic Specialists in Alexandria, MN. The couple will exchange vows June 28, 2014 in Independence.
