Byers, William 'Bill' J.
William “Bill” J. Byers, 78, of Iowa City, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Iowa City, with burial to follow with military honors at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, and after 9 a.m. at the church on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Bill's memory.
