Duane Caryl (Sprie) Spriestersbach passed away Monday, April 25, 2011, at Mercy Iowa City.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Englert Theatre in Iowa City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the University of Iowa Foundation for the Fund to Support Student Excellence at the University of Iowa Graduate College. Arrangements are with Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service.
