Newton were married June 1, 1974 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Garber, IA. They were blessed with two daughters, Stefanie (Kevin) Ruth of Manchester and Holly (Chad) Kepros of North Liberty, and five grandkids, Markus, Andrea, Sydney, Nathan and Natalee.
