KCRG to expand coverage of Hawkeye, Cyclone, Panther sports

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- KCRG-TV9 and Learfield Sports announced on Wednesday expanded coverage of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Iowa State Cyclones, and Northern Iowa Panthers starting this fall.
The station will air Iowa Football with Kirk Ferentz, Iowa Basketball with Fran McCaffery, Iowa State Football with Paul Rhoads, Iowa State Basketball with Fred Hoiberg, and Panther Sports Talk on KCRG-TV9, with replays on KCRG 9.2.
KCRG 9.2 will also air six UNI football games: Sept. 20 against Northern Colorado, Sept. 27 against Tennessee Tech, Oct. 18 against South Dakota State, Nov. 1 against Illinois State, Nov. 8 against North Dakota State, and Nov. 22 against Missouri State.
