celebrate their 40th anniversary on
Sunday, August 3rd. Tom Takes and the former Mary Miller were married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Monticello, IA. They are planning a family vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks. They are the parents of 3 children, Rebecca (Eric) Gilchrist of North Liberty, Nicole (Keith) Proesch of Ankeny and Zach (Whitney) Takes of Cedar Rapids. They have 3 grandchildren, Sophia and Liam Proesch and Bentley Takes.
