Iowa has a lot of veterans and it would be wise of them to pick a veteran to represent them from the U.S. Senate.
Congressman Bruce Braley, running for the U.S. Senate, had his opportunity to see to it that veterans needing medical help from the Veterans Affairs got this help. Braley, however, fell down on the job by failing to attend 79 percent of the scheduled VA meetings. Lack of attention of the VA by Congress is probably responsible for the early death of many veterans.
As a World War II veteran, I recommend a veteran, Joni Ernst, for the U.S. Senate position. Vote for her in November.
