Elaine Nguyen and Matthew Schulte announce their engagement. Elaine is the daughter of Hung and Loan. Matt is the son of Kevin and Beth. Janice Danielson and the late Duane Danielson, and Jean Schulte and the late Gregory Schulte, all of Cedar Rapids, are Matt's grandparents. Both Elaine and Matt graduated from Jefferson High School in 2007. Elaine graduated from the University of Iowa in 2013 with a Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health. Matt graduated from Iowa State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. The couple currently resides in Boise, ID. A June 2015 wedding is planned in Maui, HI.
