Stop taking away the right to smoke

To the editor:
In a few months I will be 90 years old. I still have a voice. They can't take that away from me at this time. I have a problem with our rights to live as we want. I just don't know how they can tell a person what to do, how to do it and when to do it. That's not the American way of life. I never drank or smoked but if I did I would be madder than hell. I do understand that breaking the law is wrong. But I do believe there are a lot of things going on that should come first before taking away the right to smoke. Get the guns off the street first.
