Scott & Susan German, Grinnell, & Scott & Kelly Avis, Walker, are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Desiree German & Tyler Avis, both of Columbia, MO. Desi graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in
public relations & a minor in marketing. She is the Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator at Plaza Dental Group in Columbia. Tyler graduated from Kirkwood Community College with an AA in education & the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in geography & a minor in coaching. He is the GIS Technician for the Community Development Department at the City of Columbia. The couple will be married at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Iowa City on September 19, 2015.
