Rapids, formerly of Swisher, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary September 6, 2015, with a dinner party in Seattle hosted by their daughters Diane Klinger and Carol Rudd.
They have four children, nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. They were
married in Newton on September 9, 1945. They owned and operated the Ranch
Supper Club in Cou Falls, for 40 years, and now spend their retirement years in Cedar Rapids.
