Bernie and Carol (Ploessl) Berntsen, of Marion, IA were married September 18, 1965 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in
Dubuque, IA.
They celebrated their anniversary in August on a family vacation in the Lake of the Ozarks with their children, Scott (Cindy) Berntsen of Marion, Kristie (Dave) Jordan of Mt. Vernon, IA, and Becky (Brett) Bolsinger of Cedar Rapids, IA; and six grandchildren, Taylor, Nick, Alexis, Jacob, Ashlyn and Braylen.
