Attracted to his knitted stocking cap, Jeanne Booth first noticed her future husband, Richard Chelikowsky, in Junior High. After completing
finals their last year of college, the couple got
married on May 28, 1961 at Danforth Chapel on the campus of Kansas State University, honeymooned in the Ozarks and returned to
graduate the following weekend.
Their kids Marie, Laura and John and their
families have been blessed by their faithful and loving marriage of 55 years.
