Dennis Schipper and the former Marilyn Landuyt were married May 28, 1966, at St. Michael's Church in Belle Plaine. They are the parents of Chad Schipper, Coralville, and Sara Schipper (Toshi Nishihara) of Osaka, Japan; and
grandparents of Rain Evan Nishihara.
Their children hosted a dinner for close friends on May 28th. The couple will further celebrate with a riverboat cruise in Portugal (one more country to visit!), and a family gathering in late summer.
