Howard and Ilene (Hempy) Simanek began their marriage journey on September 10, 1966, at the United Methodist Church in Martelle, IA. Since then, they have been blessed with two children: Brad (Tricia) Simanek and Stacia (Peter) Nkumu; five grandchildren: Gabriel/ Rose Nkumu and Killian/ Thatcher/ Beckett Simanek; and more memories than they can count. They are extremely grateful for all those who have touched and
helped shape their lives over the last half century.
