Podcast program debuts today

The Insight and opinion team debuts a new online feature today: “Insights on Iowa” audio podcasts.

Our launch targets Tuesday's Linn County referendum on gambling. We interviewed spokesmen from the opposing campaigns: Steve Gray of Vote Yes Linn County and Todd Henderson of Just Say No Casino.

As we develop the podcast program, we will explore ways to include interaction with readers and listeners. We want these podcasts to be discussions that advance our company's goals of expanding the community conversation - in ways that enhance Eastern Iowans' understanding of high-interest issues and help gather constructive ideas and consensus solutions.
