Another winter storm is blowing through Iowa, bringing more snow and strong winds to a state still trying to recover from last week's ice storm.
The snow began early Monday, and by 6 a.m., four inches was reported at the Des Moines International Airport.
The National Weather Service says the bigger problem will be the wind, gusting to near 50 mph.
Meanwhile, thousands of Iowans who lost power in the ice storm had their power restored over the weekend.
MidAmerican Energy expects to have all power lines repaired on Monday. Alliant Energy restored power to all its customers Saturday afternoon. About 7,000 rural electric customers were still without power on Sunday, and the hardest hit-areas may have to wait until Thursday to get the electricity back on.
