Kalona man arrested for indecent exposure in parking lot of mall

Police arrested a man for indecent exposure in the Target parking lot of Coral Ridge Mall.
Robert J. Meyers, 46, of Kalona was arrested Monday June 14 for an incident that occurred on Memorial Day.
According to police reports, Meyers was sitting in the driver seat of his vehicle when he began to ask a woman parked next to him about the car she was driving. Police sad the woman then noticed that Meyers wasn't wearing any pants while they were chatting.
Officers said the woman positively identified Meyers in a photo line-up.
Indecent exposure is a serious misdemeanor punishable by a fine of no more than $1,500 and a prison sentence for no longer than one year.
