Heller likely to get job at Creighton

Former University of Northern Iowa baseball coach Rick Heller will likely be the new hitting coach at Creighton.
When contacted earlier this week, Heller said he couldn't comment publicly, but he sent a letter recently to UNI supporters saying he was taking the Creighton position. Creighton has not officially announced Heller's hiring.
Creighton, of course, is also in the Missouri Valley Conference. Northern Iowa dropped its baseball program at the end of this season because of what it said were financial reasons.
Heller had been head coach of the Panthers for 10 years. Prior to that, he coached at Upper Iowa University.
