Work together for a better country

The job of running for any office in Congress is now decided by the very rich thanks to our Supreme Court.
The race for Tom Harkin's position via Joni Ernst and Congressman Bruce Braley is a great example. The Republican is on record wanting to privatize Social Security and ending health care as we know it. Ultimately, she uses a gun to shoot at an Affordable Care Act document. What kind of example is this? Our country has enough violence. Her attacks on Braley about the veterans hospital is stretched. I happen to know that vets receive great care in Iowa City's Veterans Hospital.
As our country faces threats to its security, we don't need another Republican in office. Our last president created the current terrorist problem by invading Iraq with lies about weapons of mass destruction which cost our country $1.7 trillion and broke our United Nations agreement on torture. We are living in very dangerous times. Americans need to wake up and elect people who will work in Congress. They are receiving inflated salaries for a 'do nothing” job.
Put race aside and let's all work together to get our country back to where we can say, 'God will bless our nation.”
