Do not be deceived by empty promises

Some very important person in the socialistic world has described socialism as the best form of slavery. Since slavery has a negative connotation, maybe socialism also has a negative connotation. Since U.S. voters are poised to trade their political freedom for economic security on Nov. 6, let us take a look at slavery.
I am a wage slave. I worked every day for John Deere that John Deere scheduled me to work. I missed one on account of snow. John Deere told me what to do and I did it. John Deere told me when to go to bed, when to get up, when to go to work and when to go home.
In return, John Deere provided for my every need and the needs of my family. In addition, John Deere paid in to my Social Security, kept out money for my pension fund, provided the wherewithal to buy a farm and improve it. John Deere still provides for me and my family even after these 30 some years. I am proud to be a John Deere wage slave in this land of the free and the home of the brave.
I am so glad my forefathers left the land of secure mediocrity and came to America and helped make it the best and greatest nation this world has ever known. Which kind of slavery do we want? Under bureaucracies and bureaucrats or under a free enterprise system? Is the American dream one of having opportunity to attain to the best of our ability and effort, or it is to depend on broken and empty promises? The choice is clear. Do not be deceived.
