Cardella will add value to discussion

I'm too busy raising my family, pursuing my career, and living my life to spend time and energy on politics. You take care of it so I don't have to. What a perfect recipe for government to take advantage of good people and their trust.
How often do you hear about government programs being analyzed for their effectiveness? Are “good intentions” all that matter, regardless of outcomes? Do some programs, projects, etc., ever turn out badly or not what was intended? Are they eliminated?
If your entire life is government, there's a tendency to think of and dream up “projects” that keep expanding government, whether the projects are necessary or not. Being entrenched in government can cloud one's perspective, especially when there is one-party rule.
Personal, petty attacks keep us from discussing the substantive fiscal issues of our county.
Lori Cardella will add value to the discussion by asking the questions the one-party rule will never ask. It will put the magnifying glass to issues for the citizens to see. It will shine the light on what is working and what is not.
Please give Lori your confidence and vote for Johnson County Board of Supervisors in Tuesday's special election.
