Someone fired at least three gunshots at a house in northeast Cedar Rapids on Thursday morning, police said.
Police responded to the area of 15th Street and A Avenue NE around 3:45 a.m. after 911 callers on both sides of First Avenue reported hearing the shots. When officers arrived, they did not find any evidence to back up the reports.
But around 7 a.m., police were called to 1516 D Ave. NE, after a resident there found three bullet holes in a bedroom wall, Sgt. Cristy Hamblin said.
No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made. An investigation was continuing.
