Marion mayor shows residents their results

I'm very thankful that The Gazette chose to run a photo accompanying Steve Gravelle's Jan. 25 story “Marion mayor calls for ‘a new transparency.'” Without this photo, I would have found it hard to believe that Mayor Allen “Snooks” Bouska would actually don a “crazy Czech crash helmet” at the State of the City luncheon and expect to be taken seriously. Seeing him in such a hat and having him explain its purpose is to “deflect all your negative remarks” actually does wonders for his goal of transparency. It shows Marion citizens that their mayor is acting like an overgrown child.
Makes me very glad I voted for Nick Glew.
