A man with arrest warrants out of Illinois was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct, public intoxication and providing false identification after police were called to a fight on Bartelt Road.
Jaice Vernon Lindsey, 26, who also goes by Jason Perry and Snoop, was arrested at 10:05 p.m. Sunday in the 2500 block of Bartelt Road.
Officers were called to the neighborhood for a report of a large fight in progress with shots fired and people weilding knives and sticks.
Police found Lindsey in the area and determined he was fighting with another person over marijuana, police said. Lindsey said he was Jason Perry, 27, but police later discovered his real identity and learned he has warrants in Cook County, Ill., police reported. He refused to give police his address.
Lindsey had bloodshot, watery eyes, slurred speech, a strong odor of alcohol and was talking extremely loudly, police said. His blood alcohol content was .137.
