Fae Kerbs, 95, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, July 15, 2021, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Services were held at Cottage Grove Place. Teahen Funeral Home and Cremation is serving the family.
Fae is survived by her son, Dan (Cheryl) Kerbs Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colo.; grandson, Jason (Jenny) Kerbs of Omaha, Neb.; three great-grandchildren, Kensie, Caselyn and Charis; sister, Ruth Nash of Cedar Rapids; nephews, Paul and Neil Nash; and niece, Kathy (Nash) Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Fae was born July 19, 1925, in Greeley, Colo., the daughter of James and Ruby Brown Lowe. She received a BA in education from Colorado State College of Education, Greeley, Colo., and was a teacher in Decatur, Ark., for several years. Fae was married to Daniel Kerbs until his death on May 22, 1981.
Fae enjoyed traveling, flowers and gardening. She loved being with her family and will be greatly missed.
