DENNIS "DENNY" PEARSON
Longmont, Colo.
Dennis "Denny" James Pearson, 68 of Longmont, Colo., passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at his home.
Denny was born Dec. 18, 1952, in Ames, Iowa, the son of James W. Pearson and Beverly J. Pearson.
He graduated from Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1971. He also attended the University of Iowa. Denny spent the majority of his life in Colorado, where he worked in the restaurant business. Denny loved music, sports, cooking, but most of all his family. He was an avid Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies fan. Denny loved everything Colorado and the Rocky Mountains had to offer.
Denny is survived and lovingly remembered by his family: mother, Beverly Pearson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sister, Kim Pearson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; brothers, Bill (Lissa) Pearson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Jeff (Shelly) Pearson of Marion, Iowa; sister-in-law, Linda Pearson of Cedar Rapids, Ipwa; one aunt, Karen Popelka of Ames, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by special friend, Christina Farmer.
He was preceded in death by his dad, James Pearson; and brother, Donald Pearson.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life from 1 to
4 p.m. Aug. 21, at Jones Park Lagoon Pavilion.
