Parents, stay alert when it comes to meth
The Gazette Opinion Staff

I am a meth addict in the stages of recovery. I am in Marshall County Jail. Meth is everywhere. If you think your kids can't come across it, you are wrong. It is everywhere. The bad part is that the pushers don't care if your kids get it. Addicts don't think about whether contributing is hurting our kids or community.
Parents, it is lurking on every corner, in your schools. Even right in front of your faces.
Talk to your children before they try it. If they do, get them help right away. Treat this drug as if you would treat cancer. Warn them.
