Murders are tragic, senseless events

To the editor: I have no answers for anything, maybe I do, though. We have a man in San Francisco who shoots a young woman in the back with her dad present. What a tragedy and so senseless. He was deported five times and had seven felony arrests and was running loose. Our justice system is badly broken. The people responsible for this man running loose should lose their job and do jail time, but they won't, will they?
I have compassion, but not for people like this. Look at Chicago, makes me sick to my stomach. We have black people killing each other every day. They shoot kids and innocent people. They don't care. But our system doesn't care and the bleeding hearts are no better. And it's not the gun's fault, it's the bad people who pull the trigger and bad people get guns no matter what. I don't care if you're green, black, white or red. If you commit a murder you should pay the price.
We're not safe anywhere. Such a travesty.
