Father David Hitch, 80, of Tipton, died peacefully on Friday, July 16, 2021, while under the care of Country Manor Memory Care of Davenport. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tipton. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 22, also at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. A memorial fund has been established in Fr. Hitch's name with the proceeds being donated to Our Lady of Parish Retreat.
