Violent people, not guns, deserve scrutiny

There you go again. Another 'gun violence” headline in the April 30 Gazette ('Gun violence climbs in C.R.”), parroted by the talking heads of the local news
media. Apparently, even our police chief is under the delusion that an inanimate object is capable of displaying violence. That just goes to show the power and influence of the socialist media constantly beating us over our heads with this garbage knowing that if a lie is constantly repeated, people will believe it. Also, it no doubt makes good copy and publicity posturing against violence and placing the responsibility on an inanimate object.
There is no such thing as 'gun violence” and inanimate objects don't possess the capability of deciding to be violent. Only people possess this capability and they use a long list of inanimate objects in achieving it, with guns being only a part of the list but drawing all the publicity. For example, we never hear of knife violence, blunt object violence, automobile violence, poison violence, stiletto heel violence. Well, you get the point. It's always guns coming under attack and being demonized by the media socialists.
It serves no purpose to place a false label on an inanimate object in an attempt to draw attention from where it belongs: on violent people.
Another thing, once they're caught, keep them locked up.
