GARY EDWARD FABIAN
Iowa City
Gary left us way too early on July 6, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Always a happy person and a great CPA, Gary worked for Greenwood and Crim and Winkel, Parker & Foster until his retirement. He had an incredible memory for details that made him a great resource. You didn't want to get in a memory match with him as Gary would beat you every time. He also was a wiz at video games.
Gary volunteered with Big Brothers and Big Sisters. He was also a founding member on the Board of Directors and past president of the Iowa City Lions
Club Foundation.
Gary is survived by his father, Gordon Fabian; brother, Paul Fabian (Mary); sisters, Terri Arment (Troy) and Angela Fabian; his uncle, Glen Fabian (Carolyn); his aunt, Lynne Audette (Jerry); and nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Fabian; and his sister, Pamela Harrison (Matthew).
Gary, along with his laugh and wisdom, will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 14, at First Lutheran Church, 1000 Third Ave. SE, Cedar Rapids.
