Miller-Meeks would be your voice in D.C.

I have considerable depth and breadth of knowledge of Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks as I was on the committee that chose her out of several hundred applicants to be an Iowa Eye resident for 3 1/2 years. Working with her in the clinics and operating rooms provided me a firsthand witness to these attributes.
Be assured that if elected as Iowa's 2nd District representative to Congress, Miller-Meeks would never vote for a bill without first reading and thoroughly understanding it. She would be in Washington to represent 2nd District folks, not to take orders from more senior or powerful Beltway regulars. Further, she would rail against any bill to increase taxes or expand an already overextended government.
Also know that one of her favorite admonitions is that of Cicero, delivered around 55 B.C. to the Romans: “The budget should be balanced, the treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work instead of living on public assistance.”
Cicero's admonition accurately describes the focus, drive and principles Miller-Meeks would take to Washington.
