Social Security is not an entitlement

What is wrong with our president? He wants to cut Social Security payments. That is not his money to cut. It's bad enough that we have to pay income tax on the Social Security benefits when we already have paid income tax on that income when it was earned. My employer and I were forced to pay into this program for the entire 50-plus years of my working life. I had no choice if I wanted this money to go into another investment program. This money is not an entitlement - it's mine and I want it back.
Why do we never cut foreign aid payments? In fact, during the sequester, we gave $500 million to the Palestinians who are already receiving U.S. aid. Am I the only one failing to see logic in cutting services in the USA while giving more money to a foreign country?
These foreign countries did nothing to earn these moneys and most of these countries don't ask for the money or, for that matter, like or respect the USA other than for the financial gain to them.
This is our tax money, let's use it for our country and leave the Social Security program alone.
