Sharon K. Hiatt-Hilbrant, 77, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Fairfield, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Visitation will begin after noon Friday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at First United Methodist Church, 309 N. Main St., Mount Pleasant.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for American Diabetes Association and First United Methodist Church.
