Isabelle Klaren, 57, of Iowa City, formerly of Hopkinton, died Saturday, July 10, 2021, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, following an extended illness.
Private family services will be held at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery, Monticello. Thoughts, memories and condolences may be left at goettschonline.com
Surviving are four siblings, Christopher (Sharon) Klaren, Waterloo, Thomas Klaren, Cedar Rapids, Sara Klaren and Sean Klaren, both of Hopkinton; nieces and nephews, Brian, Joy, Derek and Elizabeth; and great-nephews, Kayson, Elijah and Hunter. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law, Julie.
Isabelle Elizabeth Klaren was born July 29, 1963, at the John McDonald Hospital, Monticello, Iowa. She was the daughter of Marvin and Sally Powers, Klaren. Isabelle graduated from the Maquoketa Valley Schools in 1981 and received her Bachelor's Degree in German as a Language from the University of Iowa. She was employed by Johnson County in their SEATS Transportation Program as a scheduler for more than 30 years.
